Minotti

The manufacturer MINOTTI is proof of Italian quality, combining perfectionism, tradition and modern technology. The taste and vision of Rodolfo Dordoni make MINOTTI products the best examples of “Made in Italy.”
MINOTTI's sofas are like a sophisticated suit – the perfect cut, brilliant in both its simplicity and its details. MINOTTI uses only its own fabrics for its furniture, along with specially selected leather, solid wood, marble, metal and glass.
Over 70 years, MINOTTI has become an exemplar of Italian sophistication around the world.

Brasilia

Inspired by iconic works of Brazilian modernism, the Brasilia furniture collection represents the architectural signature of its creator, Marcio Kogan (studio mk27), who revisits mid-twentieth-century aesthetics. These time-tested designs, interpreted in Kogan’s ultra-precise, minimal style, are destined to become contemporary classics.
Brasilia recalls the period of great cultural ferment that swept through Brazil in the 1950s, when outstanding architects like Oscar Niemeyer and Lúcio Costa pursued their dreams for utopian cities. Dark-brown stained palisander with elegant structural details pays tribute to mid-century creations.
Showcasing original uses of materials, the bold personality of each piece offers a fresh take on classic lines, volumes and proportions. The family of furniture includes a wide range of seats for various environments, from living to sleeping areas, and a selection of pieces for the bedroom and home office. Last year, Minotti opened a specialized atelier for high-skilled artisans to develop the most complex product details and techniques, which has proved pivotal for the creation of this trademark collection.

Roger

Designed by Minotti’s art director Rodolfo Dordoni, the Roger seating system brings revolutionary tailor-made solutions to a timeless design. With the largest collection of modules in Minotti’s history – 620 – the sofa system presents a vast range of versatile combinations, enabling a personalized solution for every taste and situation. This eclectic sofa includes both cushioned seats and monobloc seats, and offers a core insert of pocket springs for shape and comfort.
Minotti’s couture-like aspect and sartorial craftsmanship are evident in a graphic quilting effect of horizontal lines running the length of the backrest. As such, the Roger sofa looks just as perfect from behind as from the front. The elements can be freely customized with high and low backrests and the option of adding modules that function as side tables or storage. Roger is simply a super system, capable of creating countless configurations for both residential and hospitality spaces.

Alexander

Embodying a contemporary rationalist approach for strength and perfection, the Alexander sofa system, created by designer Rodolfo Dordoni, skilfully plays with straight and curved shapes, volumes and arrangements. The rectangles and organic lines of the seats merge into one elegant composition: from L-shaped configurations to linear interpretations of balanced geometry, with curved couch or rounded corner pieces. The variety of combinations offers both open, active zones and more enclosed, intimate ones.
The modules of the sofa can have high or low back- and arm-rests, and different heights can be combined into one design solution. The aluminium bars at its base keep the elements elevated above the ground, giving the composition a lightweight feel. Altogether, Alexander’s sinuous design pairs individuality with versatility.

Torii

Framed in constructive Japanese traditions and Italian haute-couture craftsmanship quality of Minotti, the airy furniture collection Torii equals softness and comfort, interplay of thin profiles with round edged volumes, simplicity and details.
“Torii”, the ritual gates that invite pilgrims to enter Japanese Shinto shrines, literally translates from Japanese as "bird’s perch". The shape of torii with two uprights and two crosspieces embodies the essence of both building culture and sacrality of Japan. Torii gates inspired famous designer Nendo to create Torii furniture collection.
The sofas with high or low backrest are paying a tribute to the Japanese tradition of wood construction, the "kigumi" technique. The end of the horizontal metal element of the legs is designed to support both the backrest and the seat. Usually, the legs are connected horizontally sideways. Here, the horizontal detail is placed on top, which gives the models a unique character, referring to the architecture of the torii gates in traditional temples. For example, the Senbon Torii wooden colonnade that forms a gallery from 1,000 vermilion torii gates at the Fushimi Inari temple complex in Kyoto. Functional and ergonomic Torii swivel armchairs form a perfect circle to embody extra comfort. Together with the result of an in-depth research, the design of the whole collection expresses the refined simplicity of craftsmanship. Detailed finishing touches - quilting, eco-leather and eco-nubuck piping, emphasize the softness of form and comfort. An exquisite simplicity of craftsmanship!

Connery

With its clear lines and a perfect harmony of rectangle and circle, the furniture of Connery collection confidently conveys the spirit of mid-century American design. Meanwhile, the architectural signature of Minotti’s leading designer Rodolfo Dordoni emphasizes the power of geometry. In combination with an elegant selection of soft finishes, it creates even more compelling contrasts.
With its rigour of forms, sophistication of fine materials and lightness of constructions – the image of this collection is literally stitched with haute couture quality threads. References to high-end leather goods in padded structural base, headrests and the elegant “C”-shaped Flap surfaces, are crafted with the same technique used in fine leather luggage-crafting. Meanwhile, the structural base of the Connery sofa is deliberately raised from the ground via thin aluminum blades, which gives this piece of furniture an even more attractive, airy and light appeal.

Freeman

Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, the Freeman seating system has a striking aesthetic individuality, complemented by elegant proportions and unrivaled comfort. A game between several elements and combination of two module types allows to create stylistically unique compositions with different functions. Just as different traits of character can successfully coexist in one person, the duality of Freeman is elegantly intertwined into a single piece of furniture to create a unique design object.
The Freeman “Duvet” elements feature smooth, enveloping lines and extra-soft cushions that, like a warm embrace, induce a feeling of pure relaxation. The Freeman “Tailor” with their more defined shapes and one-piece seats enhanced with top-stitching that accents their graphic nature and contemporary spirit. Freeman supports every scenario of the house life and becomes the main stage of each living room!
