Michael Anastassiades

Michael Anastassiades is one of the most talented lighting designers of our time. Elusive objects of light in a game of ascetic lines and forms; the light is noticeable, but the lamp not always.
Anastassiades' most beloved form is a sphere, which gives endless possibilities for interpretation as its meaning changes in context – from moon to berry, from pearl to ball. The designer uses glass, metal and stone.
Anastassiades' luminaires are in MoMA's permanent collection in New York and that of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
